Biography
Josh joined Baron Capital in 2014 as a research analyst and was named assistant portfolio manager of Baron Health Care Fund in 2018 and portfolio manager of our small-cap biotechnology portfolio in 2021. He has 14 years of research experience and retains his research responsibilities. From 2012 to 2014, he worked at Stifel as a specialty pharmaceuticals equity research associate. From 2011 to 2012, he was employed at Oppenheimer as a life science tools & diagnostics equity research associate. From 2010 to 2011, he worked at Affirmed Healthcare as a health care analyst. Josh graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Biology in 2004 and from Rockefeller University with a Ph.D. in Genetics & Molecular Biology in 2009.
